Talk to us
The fastest way to get help, report a bug, or suggest a feature is email: iamabhishek1310@gmail.com. The more detail the better — what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead. You can also reach Abhishek, who makes Bookie, on X at @0bhishek.
Quick start
- Save a link: tap the big + button, paste a link (or up to 10 at once), and watch the summaries roll in.
- Save from another app: hit share in Chrome, X, Reddit or wherever, then pick Bookie — the link is waiting when you open it.
- Add your own note: open any bookmark and jot a note like “send this to mom” or “for the weekend project.”
- Find something: search by keyword or filter by tag from the home screen.
- Delete: long-press a bookmark and confirm, or open it and tap “delete bookmark” at the bottom.
Troubleshooting
A summary didn’t generate
Check your internet connection and try again — summarising needs to reach the link. Some sites block automated readers or require a login, so a few links just can’t be summarised; you can still keep them and add your own note.
Bookie isn’t in my share menu
Make sure the app is installed and you’ve opened it at least once, then restart the app you’re sharing from. Android sometimes takes a moment to register a newly installed share target.
My bookmarks disappeared
Because everything is stored locally, uninstalling the app or resetting your phone removes your library. If you restored a device from a backup, your data depends on that backup. We’re unable to recover data from our side because we never had a copy of it.
Found a bug or have an idea?
We’d genuinely love to hear it. Email iamabhishek1310@gmail.com and tell us what would make Bookie better.
